The Sydney Anglican Diocese was a scream under the Jensen administration...but nothing comes close to the Abbott administration

Listen Bill...I just read Dorothy at Loonpond...and it seems like the Federal Liberals must all be Sydney Anglicans...cause they are hilarious!

I don't know Calam...but when their term in office is over...they wouldn't be out of place with the Sydney evangelicals at Synod!

Well Alan Jones doesn't think I'm funny...could there be something wrong with his judgment... nah...look how successful he has made me

Oh dear...and Alan doesn't even use God to justify his misogyny...but you never know ...that lovely Mr Jones might be a closet Bible Basher...after all he did work at Kings School...didn't he?

  1. Sorry, the exchange between Dobby and Katay is under post of 27/6/2014 titled 'Modalism – Why Does it Matter?'

  2. Of course Dobby's post was not just click bait (though it was surely that too). The intention was to inflict some damage on John Dickson. Dickson went to the Hillsong conference last year and had kind words to say about them. He has also been involved with them this year on some song project or other.

Dobby isn't the sharpest tool, but he knew someone would raise the issue of Dickson's involvement with Hillsong if he provided the platform. On cue, some commenter on the post made the connection.

Why is Dobby out to discredit Dickson? It's all about the next election for Archbishop. Davies is just a place holder. The next election will be in 4 years or so and Dickson is positioning himself for a tilt (or at least to get someone up to hold it for him for a little longer). The Uglies, the ultra conservatives in the Diocese, to whom Dobby hopes to ingratiate himself, are doing their darnedest to stymie Dickson: look at the lengths they have gone to to attack him over his book on women preaching. Dobby thought he'd get himself a piece of that action.

Dickson wanted to keep himself above the fray, so only responded with a frowny face. Katay, who is a supporter of Dickson, ran defense for him.

    1. Well Dobby’s little tirade must have really stung Dickson. Dickson did actually go along to the Hillsong conference and gave a seminar there for them. But Dickson has kept this very quiet indeed. Not a tweet or a Facebook post as has done in previous years. For Dickson, who is an inveterate self-promoter, this can only mean he was worried about adverse perception in the Diocese. Dobby must have known he was going and this is why he timed his post as he did. He’s a crafty little bugger.

  3. I'm not sure who would want to go to Doddy's heaven? Without anyone interesting like the "modals" or the "liberals" and God forbid the "athiests" should make it....'twill be a lonely place indeed!

    1. Lonely? It would be downright hellish! Imagine, spending all eternity with Dobby.

Dobby is Satan's most powerful tool. He'll have them lining up at the top of the down escalator to collect their asbestos undies.

  4. But the likes of the Sydney Anglicans use 'the means and methods of corporate-style marketing' all the time, don't they? The 'Jesus. All about life' campaign, for instance, was nothing if not corporate-style marketing.

    1. Yes - I suspect they are just jealous that Hillsong is so successful at it!

    2. Isn't that what companies do? Try to discredit the opposition and create a monopoly.

  5. Here’s some news we can all enjoy (not least Dobby and Dicko). No doubt he will linger malodorously over with his feculent trolls at Moore for some time, but at last the end of the Jensen rule is in sight.

    1. Sydney Anglicans may now be able to become Anglicans who have a loving Christian ethos instead of promoting judgment and exclusion.
