Colin says... that LGBT are fearful for their safety and their lives. He says... The Bill is driving them further back into the closet and lynchings of people suspected of being gay are predicted. Colin goes onto say...The Church of Nigeria campaigned in support of a bill which directly contravenes Anglican policy and not one Church of England Bishop spoke out this week to denounce the bill and criticise the Church of Nigeria for supporting it in opposition to Anglican policy?
Colin rightly states that the Anglican Church is being held ransom to a minority group of dangerous conservatives and he feels it’s time for the majority in the House of Bishops to stand up to this conservative minority, in a church culture which employs and licences a thousand LGB&T people in ministry – and then denies them the freedom to live and minister openly and honestly.
As I've always said ... best practice is to employ your relos and friends to sniff out the rabble and get rid of them before they can influence anyone. Yes, I'm happy with the term Nazi!
And no ...the right wing homophobic Anglican Church League and Anglican Mainstream websites haven't published anything about the Nigerian bill because we don't want to be held accountable! Who said GAFCON? Shhh!

Sydney Anglican's rhetoric on same-sex marriage resounds well in Nigeria

Sydney Anglican archbishop Peter Jensen who is in favour of gender and sexual orientation apartheid, pleaded for the Australian Labor Party to continue to discriminate against gays and lesbians, and vote against same-sex marriage. Although his prayers fell on deaf ears in Australia, his adopted country, Nigeria heard his prayers and passed a bill which carries a prison sentence of 14 years, for anyone involved in, or attending a same - sex marriage. The law further prohibits the public show of amorous relationship directly or indirectly and empowered state high courts to prosecute offenders.

I'm glad they've kept the 'dob in a gay' clause because what is a 'religious' country if it can't function on fear!

Australian Labor Party policy supports full marriage equality!

A crowd of 10,000 gathered to await the ALP debate on marriage equality. The Conference voted in favour of a platform change proposed by Rainbow Labor. Now, for the first time, Labor party policy supports full marriage equality.

The Archbishop of Sydney and false rhetoric!

Sydney's archbishop, Peter Jensen, has used the bigoted Anglican Church League website, which is second only to Anglican Mainstream for right wing fascism, to express his deep sadness about the ALP having to debate the false rhetoric of ‘equality’ surrounding same-sex marriage! Tunnel- visioned Jensen, who is known for denying women equality, says ... The present law defining marriage is not a denial of rights.... HIS rights! He goes onto claim that ...Issues of inequity regarding the financial and legal status of same-sex relationships have already been addressed by the Parliament and I have supported these changes.

Is this the same Peter Jensen who was instrumental in dividing the worldwide Anglican Church because of a homosexual bishop?
Yes, the same one who sided with African bigots, when they wanted to introduce a jail sentence for gays and anyone who helped them. What did Martin Luther say... "“One who condones evil is just as guilty as the one who perpetrates it.”

Jensen says his concerns are about redefining marriage, parenthood, sex education and commitment to religious freedom (aka the right to discriminate within the secular community).

Is that the same Jensen who owns 'marriage' both inside and outside the church, and condones driving homosexuals underground in Africa, thus inhibiting their treatment for AIDS? I say... "Let’s get rid of this disgusting stigma and get these people who are such fascists, such idiots, and such assholes to understand that people have a right to live with dignity."

Sydney Anglicans confirm what most know... for some Christians, 'hate mongering' is the only identifiable Christian trait!

An article in the Vancouver Sun titled 'Believers Deem Atheists as Untrustworthy as Rapists' was posted on the Sydney Anglican 'breaking news' website. The article confirms that some self identified Christians have trust issues that extend to members of other religious groups, gays and feminists. The article states that the prejudice had a significant impact on what kinds of jobs people said they would hire atheists to do. "People are willing to hire an atheist for a job that is perceived as low-trust, for instance as a waitress," said Gervais. "But when hiring for a high-trust job like daycare worker, they were like, nope, not going to hire an atheist for that job."
Atheists however don't necessarily favour other atheists over Christians or anyone else ... they seem to think that religion is not an important signal for who you can trust.

Hey Bert, it's commendable that Sydney Anglicans are upholding the spread of prejudice. It's taken some of the finist clergy in the world to build that level of fear and hate ... everyone knows that you can't trust an atheist around children!

Christians in the UK are wearing badges and publicly declaring their faith, however by the look of those promoting this event...the day might be better titled 'Homophobic Christianity'

Alert!!! Anglican Mainstream declares America in the grips of a sex addiction...but as expected, it's an opportunity to verbally bash gays!

Anglican Mainstream has published an article written by Life Site news, critiquing a Newsweek piece. The article states that America is in the middle of a 'sex addiction' epedimic, however the theme really is about Life Site's and Anglican Mainstream's homophobia and their hatred of medical evidence around same-sex attraction that has resulted in greater understanding and tolerance towards the LGBT community. The article takes every opportunity to offend those who believe in inclusion, as opposed to discrimination. ... Surprisingly enough, the magazine even goes so far as to admit that at least some homosexual activity is related to sex addiction... the American Psychiatric Association now applies this standard to all “paraphilias” (sexual perversions), except for homosexual sodomy, which is now treated as a normal variation of human sexuality...Shockingly, the Newsweek article does acknowledge a reality that is normally unthinkable for the liberal mind: that homosexual behavior might be related to a sex addiction.

And I didn't think it could get any worse but it does by saying...homosexuals are known for having superficial, short-term relationships and hundreds of lifetime sex partners, causing them to contract deadly diseases at rates far beyond that of the rest of the population. These are all facts available in the medical and scientific journals of the day, but they are prohibited facts that may not be discussed by the genteel souls of America’s media elite.
