Sydney Anglican archbishop
Peter Jensen who is in favour of gender and sexual orientation apartheid, pleaded for the Australian Labor Party to continue to discriminate against gays and lesbians, and vote against same-sex marriage. Although his prayers fell on
deaf ears in Australia, his adopted country,
Nigeria heard his prayers and passed a bill which carries a prison sentence of 14 years, for anyone involved in, or attending a same - sex marriage. The law further prohibits the public show of amorous relationship directly or indirectly and empowered state high courts to prosecute offenders.
I'm glad they've kept the 'dob in a gay' clause because what is a 'religious' country if it can't function on fear! 99... I hear Nigeria's the place where's there's plenty of work!
