Channel 7's Sunrise interviews Jim Wallace from the Australian Church Lobby and Peter Jensen about same-sex marriage.


The team from Channel 7's Sunrise arranged a debate between Dr Kerryn Phelps and Jim Wallace after being critised by ACL for televising  the "I Do" campaign. Weekend Sunrise went on to interview Peter Jensen about his opposition to marriage equality.

Sydney Anglicans would have great difficulty embracing marriage equality seeing marriage to them is all about inequality.

    Did you see the article from 10 June's Herald entitled ‘Pro-gay marriage MPs get hate mail’? This is a quote from the article:

    "One of the letters sent to a Labor MP accused her of trying to promote 'unhealthy addictions'."
    "'A small minority of heterosexuals fail their biological reality and as a consequence of dysfunctional experiences, developmental and emotional immaturity become addicted to homosexual practices,' the letter said. 'Unhealthy addictions need healthy solutions and redefining marriage will not heal biological self-deception and self-delusional fantasies.'"

    I'll bet my bottom dollar this was written by Haydn Sennitt. It contains just about all of his tired old clichés and is written in his characteristic clumsy prose.
