Conservative Christian lobbyists do not speak for all people of the faith, according to the
Brisbane Anglican leader heading a new progressive advocacy group. The Very Reverend Peter Catt, the Dean of St John's Cathedral, announced yesterday the creation of the new group called A Progressive Christian Voice (Australia). "It is the dominance of groups like the ACL that seem to be creating the idea that Christians are all of a particular mind" said Rev Catt.
The aim of the group is not to be in conflict with the Australian Christian Lobby, which often argued for conservative positions on issues such as gay marriage and surrogacy, but to ensure there are several Christian voices in public debates. Dr Catt said the group would lobby politicians and speak up for Christians who felt their opinions were not represented by the conservative religious lobbyists.
“One of the main aims is just to get across to the general public that there's actually a diversity of views in the Christian community, that Christians' different opinions need to be part of the conversations we're having across the board,” he told brisbanetimes.com.au. “I guess we were a little concerned there's increasing tendency to see Christianity as monochrome” he said.

So come along and join a non-denominational group of artists who advertise Sydney Anglican and Matthias Media resources, worship on Anglican property and fulfil their Ministry Training Scheme (MTS) cadetship as a member of FEVA ....by listening to two Sydney Anglicans (one a Moore College lecturer) speak on behalf of a non-denominational organisation like LCMI on how to respond to SSA as Sydney Anglicans do! Oh and by the way come along to FEVA's Petersham's Evening Church and hear Haydn Sennitt and David Peterson speak about SSA...at a time when FEVA doesn't hold its hold its church service and Bible study! ...And isn't it any wonder the numbers in the Anglican Church are dropping ... Peter Jensen's mission must have been about encouraging 10% of the Sydney Anglican population to become private evangelical entreprueners !
Ennis...do you think Chris Sugden might organise a 'Gay Hate Day'? I mean he's tried the 'Gay Leper Conference' and the 'Not Gay, Post- Gay, Ex-Gay' Bus campaign ... so this campaign might be a real goer for him. He might be able to organise protesters to partake in a fried chicken 'eat-in' at the same time!
God willing, those of us who aspire to uphold biblical Christianity in the United Kingdom will be given courage to stand up for Jesus when a Lib-Lab coalition passes a hate speech law forbidding criticism of homosexuality and the Conservative leader Boris Johnson refuses to oppose it.
I dunno Ennis... those conservatives are just never satisified ... everyone knows the poms are known for making the best chips!

These pseudo-medical professionals will shed scriptural and practical light on how same-sex attracted individuals are like evil Gollum. These heterosexual/post gay individuals will promote outmoded theories of sexual orientation and cures, eventhough Exodus has now declared that sexual orientation is inherent within the individual and psychiatrists no longer list same-sex attraction as a disorder.
