Indian women have more insight than Sydney Anglican Complementarians!

Indian protesters mourning the death of a young girl at the hands of rapists.

Are Moore college students bonkers...because some of their lecturers sure are!

More importantly...do these people live in the real world?

I'm the Principal of Moore College and ...my plea is that we do not tire of testing everything against the teaching of Scripture... and that's why I know about the differentiation between the sexes... the Bible repeatedly treats the subject of how men and women should behave, in a variety of situations and not least in the sphere of Christian service... and that's why I remain unconvinced that a woman leading or preaching in a mixed-sex congregation is consistent with the teaching of Scripture.

Now let's be consistent with Scripture ...not only are you to submit to me and refrain from speaking about the Bible when men are present... but you are to...  grow your hair longer, wear a scarf on your head, call me  master, get up before dawn and camp out in the front yard when you are menstruating!

Don't be silly  all that writing about the spiritual underworld and combating demonic forces hasn't made me paranoid... I always write about conspiracy theories and other stuff no one understands...

The conspiracy theory continues to have abiding traction for those who wish to woo the masses—or at least a small circle of the masses.
For the rhetoric to work, a number of elements need to be in place. There needs to be a closed circle of people, so that an ‘insider-outsider’ feel is generated, as they lean forward and whisper in each others’ ears. Maintaining a constant adversarial ‘us-them’ will be important, and, to do so, don’t forget how effective witty remarks, newly invented slogans, and little jokes (or even outright snipes) together, at the expense of ‘the others’ can be.
Amongst those ‘others’, you need a focus, a target. This victim will be sacrificed for ‘us’, by being made the perpetrator of the conspiracy (which will be wicked, by definition).

You also need some prophets. Drawing upon their amazing powers not shared by mere mortals, these great ones are able to discern ‘what is really going on’. They call
out the conspiracy. But (surely it goes without saying?), only to their own little huddle in their corner of the playground. For the prophets to maintain the aura of supernatural ability, of course, they have to be able to read simply everything in the light of their conspiracy theory
.

If the target gets wind of the conspiracy theory and denies the charge, or refutes it with all kinds of evidence, the prophets must maintain their course, undaunted. The denials and refutations must be now incorporated into the conspiracy theory. That’ll bring about an ever increasing adulation of the fans and sycophants: how can the prophet see what nobody else can see, not even the people who are the target of the attack?.
How indeed.

And I thought doing drugs did your head in! This guy seems like the perfect choice for the future leader of those mad Sydney Anglicans...maybe not quite the ratbag that Phillip Jensen is...but close!

The Sydney Anglican Archbishop who is well known for his divisiveness...says it's all about reconciliation

The Anglican Archbishop of Sydney has described Christmas as a time for reconciliation.
Dr Jensen has delivered his last Christmas message as Archbishop. before he retires in mid-2013.
Jensen who is well known for promoting discrimination within the Sydney diocese and throughout the worldwide C of E says...Reconciliation has to flow out of love. The Bible says we should love our neighbours and that means seeking to live at peace with them and to fix up quarrels. Love unites us. Hatred separates us... Because of what God has done, Christmas is a great time to fix up the feuds and quarrels and hatreds which divide us. Are you going to follow God’s way this Christmas? Then be reconciled to him and be reconciled to your neighbours.

Yes but let's be clear about Peter Jensen's form of reconciliation. It's not based on unconditional love like that of Jesus... but on the principle of reconciliation being dependent on justice being done.
Gotta love Peter Jensen's take on Christianity...Bible in one hand and lawyer in the other!

Justice and reconciliation comes in many forms my lady... there's reconciliation :
1. In  banishing you from the diocese because you believe in equality and the right to have a voice in your church
2.  Silencing dialogue and debate about female equality and women's ordination
3. Calling you a heretic or emotionally disturbed... because you think you have the right to read the bible for yourself ...rather than be dictated to by pharisees who clain they are the only ones who understand God's word.

Sydney Anglican author of "Living with the Underworld" now writes a new demonic piece called "Silencing Satan...Handbook of Biblical Demonology" !

Peter Bolt knows that conquering demons sells better than conquering women and gays
Sam Freney not only promotes Moore College lecturer, Peter Bolt's new handbook on silencing Satan...but he also describes the type of male that is drawn to Sydney Anglicanism and it's demonic belief system... an arrogant young man in late high school, thoroughly self-assured, and convinced of the rightness.
Sam speaks about his conversion to the believing in demons... So reading the Bible was a very strange experience at times, because things like conflict with demons kept popping up—and in places where I felt I couldn’t just write it off as a symbolic expression...and as a result he now realises that...The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.

And I'm the reason why Sydney Anglicanism finds it has a place within the Africa culture. I mean ...without proof of the existence of my demonic forces...then where does that leave the Sydney Anglican saviour . It's a co-dependence... African Anglicanism needs role models like Sydney Anglicans to help them rid their culture of demons...and Sydney Anglicans need superstitious cultures to make them feel relevant...and make money ! So let's all join Gafcon and give me the relevance that I deserve!

Well listen dude...just so long as those Sydney Anglicans don't start rationalising their spirituality down to the Biblical "Nth" degree...because they might exorcise me from their religion!

Understanding the Sydney Diocese...by Mark Thompson...

NO THANKS!

Ex-Anglican Church League President, Mark Thompson, has published 7 articles explaining the philosophy and theology behind Sydney Anglican bigotry.

Say Bill...I'm inclined to think like Dorothy over at the Loonpond...giving up reading right wing bigotry in the name of God is like giving up self harm!
Gee Calam...those students at Moore College are in for some riveting stuff...what with all that traditionalism laid down with Adam and Eve! Michael Jensen's book about justifying Sydney Anglican elitism, sexism and homophobia will probably be mandatory reading.

Almost half the lay members who voted against female bishops were women ...

...ones that derive their power from male headship!

The UK Guardian reports that... Almost half of the lay people who voted against legislation to allow female bishops in the Church of England were women...33 of the 74 General Synod lay members who last week caused the long-awaited measure to fail were women and most of them are affiliated to the conservative evangelical group Reform or the traditional Anglo-Catholic movement Forward in Faith.
Susie Leafe and women like her, want women who have given their lives to serve God as priests, to be discriminated against, and forced to abstain from seeking promotion. This is because of her theological conviction that women can't preach infront of men, eventhough no one is forcing Susie to be ordained!

STUPID GIRLS!

Speaking about stupid girls...how much longer will Julia Bishop continue with Tony Abbott's and Alan Jones' payback... nobody gets away humiliation on that scale!

A Sydney Anglican talks about the lack of money being donated by parishoners

I don't think Australians think that promoting sexism, homophobia, religious intolerance and gambling away diocesan assets on the stock market is value for money.

The Briefing, has published an article about finance. This is very apt as everyone knows that Sydney Anglicans have had a lot of experience in the area of finance...what with their stock market loss of in excess of $160 million of diocesan assets... and the Matthias Media push for donations, to help move the publishing company into the $21st Century, whilst still producing material that promotes the predjudical values of the 1950s.

Phil Cogin writes...Sadly, statistics from the Australian National Church Life Survey (and the like) suggest that there is not an overwhelming outpouring of generosity in our churches, at least in regards to people giving to their church. We are nowhere near hitting an average giving of 5%, let alone a tithe of 10%. What does that say?
Some would say we need to send our ministers off for fundraising training. Others suggest that our training colleges need to be more practical. No doubt some of this would be helpful—but what this says to me is that there is a deep spiritual problem in our churches.

Phil goes onto criticise working mothers in a way that only Sydney Anglicans know how, when he says... we need to ask why the mothers of our children are going back to paid employment. It’s certainly not a sin, and sometimes it’s financially necessary. But if it’s not necessary to pay for our daily bread and for a roof over our family, then why do we so often do it? Is it because it gives a sense of worth and contentment that is not found elsewhere? If that is the case—and it will require some honest reflection to work out—then that needs to be challenged, because our contentment and worth should come from knowing and serving Christ. We need to ask if this work is actually to pay for a level of living that we think is our right but that God would really call greed (and therefore idolatry)?

My contentment and worth does come from knowing and serving Christ but Sydney Anglicans and the like, won't allow me to fulfill my calling.

Sydney Anglican, Mark Thompson says... opposing womens' equality within the church... "genuinely values women as opposed to devaluing them."

or  HOMOPHOBIA
I hear the Muslims and the Christians are in conflict in Nigeria...and that new to be Archbishop of Canterbury is into promoting tolerance..Pffff...You go and show him how to deal with dissention,  Mark...never mind if the conflict escalates ...it's all about Sydney Anglican biblical inerrancy.
...Yeah right...the C of E's being forced legally to embrace equality...bring that on ...because we who believe in inequality will fight to the death for it...remember what Mark Thompson says... Inequality within the church genuinely values women...oh but men more!

Will Sydney Anglicans sign the petition to stop the gay Ugandan death penalty

The Ugandan Parliament is set to pass a brutal law that could carry the death penalty for homosexuality. If they do, thousands of Ugandans could face execution -- just for being gay. People have helped stop this bill before. After a massive global outcry last year, Ugandan President Museveni blocked the bill's progress. But political unrest is mounting in Uganda, and religious extremists in Parliament are hoping confusion and violence in the streets will distract the international community from a second push to pass this hate-filled law. Please sign this petition.

What was the question again... Would John Chapman have seen his death  as more important than the termination of the lives of gay Ugandans?  Well John's not here to speak for himself ...and MY SILENCE as archbishop of the diocese that aligned itself with Ugandan and Nigerian church homophobia ... is a condemnation of God's love of humanity. Everyone knows that God loves the Bible more than those for whom it is written...and it is our job as Sydney Anglicans to destroy all who stand in the way of its implemention!

You know where you gays went wrong...You were born...If you want to feature on the Sydney Anglican website ...then stay a foetus...because then they'll  fight for your right to life!

Haydn Sennitt gives some advice to Vaughan Roberts...don't accept your homosexuality...overcome it

In October 2012 one of the world’s leading evangelical preachers, Vaughan Roberts, disclosed in an interview that he has experienced same-sex attractions throughout much of his life. Haydn Sennit has written about where Roberts gets it wrong ...when  Roberts says that he feels God  didn't promise to change his sexual orientation... only Haydn's!

So how do you make a man like Vaughan Roberts shiny and new!

Well that's easy... Don't live with same-sex attraction as though it is a deformed limb...instead...
1. Marry a  young naive Christian girl
2. Read and promote sloppy research
3. Have children... because fathers solve all of society's problems...and of course LGBTI people have never had fathers...that's why they are unnatural
4. turn to Anglican Mainstream... one of the most offensive websites on the internet ...for help
5. blame your parents for yor sexual orientation
6. and most importantly watch this exerp from Lord of the Rings

And Vaughan...if the above doesn't make you change... then your faith is questionable... "because when I hear another Christian, though he be tremendously gifted, saying that God cannot do something because in his experience it has not been achieved, I cannot in good conscience have much faith in a testimony like that".... it's..." the limited experience of a man who has not yet tasted God’s power in working through his sin"...  "If that is true, then Roberts is identifying himself through his sin issue and not through Christ"

Haydn...did you ever stop to think that it's about having integrity, being honest, and taking responsibility for who I am... and what I choose to believe? That way I'm not ruining... or encouraging others to ruin...innocent peoples lives... when blaming them for my sexual orientation or involving them in emotional and sexual relationships that I can't commit to fully.

Is Sydney Anglican, Mark Thompson, getting ready to take over as Sydney's next archbishop...by following in the footsteps of Peter Jensen...when he calls the new Archbishop of Canterbury a coward?

One of Dorothy's readers over at Loonpond comments, that it is rumoured, that the ex President of the Anglican Church League, Mark Thompson, is a contender for archbishop Peter Jensen's job when he retires. Peter Jensen is well known for the animosity he has displayed towards Rowan Williams, who is the outgoing Archbishop of Canterbury. Well it seems that Mark Thompson wants to continue with that level of animosity and describes Welby as... able to communicate clearly and winsomely. However, as he prepares to take up this challenging role at a very challenging time, one characteristic that has not been attributed to him is ‘courage’... or does Mark Thompson mean bigotry?

Mark Thompson wants Welby to:
  • tell Ms Jefferts Schori and her companions that they must be intolerant prejudical people like Sydney Anglicans
  •  break away from the Cof E and join GAFCON
  • get rid of gay clergy
  • protect misogynists
  • promote dischord between the C of E and the secular world
  • allow evangelicals to plant Sydney Anglican churches throughout Britian to destablilise the C of E even more

Oh and this is the best one... and from a group who promote sexual identy change and the marriage of same-sex attracted to naive heterosexuals. Mark says..."Will you (Welby) have the courage to challenge the British government over its social engineering agenda, including the promotion of the legitimacy of homosexual behaviour?" It's a pity Mark and Sydney Anglicans like him...don't stop persecuting liberal Anglicans and the UK government ..and instead turn their outrage towards another group of fundamentalists who share their own backyard!

Sydney Star Observer reports that the Ugandan 'Kill the Gays' Bill is back

Sydney Star Observer reports that Uganda’s Parliamentary Speaker has claimed that Uganda's notorious anti-homosexuality bill will soon be passed by lawmakers.
Uganda’s Daily Monitor reports that Rebecca Kadaga  made the statement last week after returning to Uganda following an international summit in Canada.
She told reporters at Entebbe International Airport that she would stand firm against homosexuality.
“They said I should stop the debate on the anti-homosexuality bill, but I assured them there is no way I can block a private members bill,” she said.
PinkNews reports that a group of anti-gay religious leaders were there to meet with her at the airport, along with the bill’s architect, MP David Bahati.
Bahati had proposed for his legislation to include the death penalty for certain cases of “aggravated homosexuality”.
In February this year it was reported that life imprisonment would replace the death penalty in the bill.

It was first introduced in 2009, but has yet to gain parliamentary approval

Say Calam...do you reckon that Peter Jensen fella... in his role as secretary, and what seems to be media guru for GAFCON, will release a statement like Rick Warren did ...condemning the persecution of Ugandan gays?
Watch it Bill...Calam's drinking...she'll choke if you encourage her to laugh and drink at the same time!

Michael Jensen reviews the Liberty Christian Ministries' committee chairman's new book...'Transformed by God'

I want to recommend  David Peterson's books 'Possessed By God' and  'Transformed by God'... because they helped me get where I am today!

The committee chairman of Liberty Christian Ministries Inc, David Peterson, has written a new book called Transformed by God, which is a sequel to Possessed by God...instead of  Possessed by Evil. Michael Jensen tells us that... One must assume that the theme follows along the lines in which he (Peterson) showed how the Bible sees ‘sanctification’ as not a process as much as a work in us by God parallel to our justification... when most of us thought it was more along the lines of a Stephen King sequel... Gollum's Journey out of Homosexuality, and into Sexual Conflictedness.
Michael Jensen tells his readers ... In an era of self-help books and with Christian bookshops awash with unbiblical drivel on this subject, Peterson’s book stands out... and that's probably because of the extremism and sensationalism used to attract readers... if it is like other publications written by Sydney Anglicans
Bill...them titles are right up there with The Twilight series...I reckon if Matthias Media keep on publishing stuff like that then all their money worries are over... Their sensationalistic titles sound like the basis for great  movie material...I'm sure them Christian kids would pay good bucks to watch people living with demon homosexuals...and  being saved by Phillip Jensen's and Tony Payne's version of pure sex...which ultimately climaxes into a God tranforming experience of sexual wholeness! Yes Calam...I reckon it might even be better than 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer"...and Moore College would be the perfect setting...what with them feminists and gays out to get them ! Do you know what Calam...them Sydney Anglicans can dress God up as a homosexual slayer ...complete with tights and a cloak...Oh come to think of it ...them Sydney Anglicans much prefer bombs and tanks...when representing God!

Have Sydney Anglicans been advising South Australian police on how to keep gay police officers in the closet?

South Australian police officers have again been denied permission to participate in the Adelaide Pride March in uniform.
The decision comes despite calls from the South Australian Minister for Social Inclusion, Ian Hunter, for SAPOL to follow the lead of the NSW and Victorian police by allowing officers to march in uniform.
Hunter said...“Gay and Lesbian Liaison Officers were introduced to provide a partnership and support between SAPOL and all elements of the community and also within the organisation by promoting equity and diversity in the workplace. 44 employees currently undertake this important role.”
Adelaide’s Pride March will be held on Saturday November 10 starting from Victoria Square at 5.30pm

Say Ennis...them Sydney Anglicans should get off their butts and help the SA government purge their police force of female employees...you know... force them to go home and submit to their husbands...so their husbands can be better husbands!

I dunno Jack...I think I'd rather sign a petition to help prevent the closeting of gay police officers...than promote more prejudice.

I'll have to ask Raj what Sydney Anglican men are like before their wives learn to submit! I wonder if Helen Jensen's submission was responsible for  making Phillip Jensen a better husband ...oh ...and an expert on clergy wives and women in general?

Anthony Venn-Brown explains that closeted gays and those presenting with an ex-gay facard spend a lifetime in denial and suffer a dualistic existence in order to be acceptable to God and others.

So Michael...Why would I want someone to change their sexual identity to be acceptable to me...and more importantly...why would anyone aspire to gain acceptance from misguided, judgmental and  prejudical people who base their faith in a discriminatory God ?
Anthony Venn-Brown has produced an excellent article explaining on what happens to sexually conflicted same-sex attracted Christians, when they embrace the type of Christianity that brands SSA people and their advocates as atheists and heretics.

Say Bill...do you reckon them Sydney Anglicans can offer some support to Jessica Simpson's dad?

I dunno Calam...he reckon's he's not gay...but I reckon that Haydn fella could work on Joe's porn addiction...if he has one

Anthony Venn-Brown writes to Sydney Anglican, Haydn Sennitt, about the problems that arise when religious groups use ex-gay ministries to move same-sex attracted individuals from sexual brokenness to heterosexual wholeness

Surely one of God's greatest gifts  is to be able to love... and be loved in return.
Anthony Venn-Brown has posted an email (in the comments section of an earlier post on this blog), that he had sent to Sydney Anglican, Haydn Sennitt. This was after Haydn Sennitt had written an article on the Liberty Christian Ministry website, as the pastoral worker to SSA individuals and their families. Haydn's role also involves speaking to young adolescents in Christian schools, and auditoriums full of young university students, about the incongruencies of SSA and the Christian lifestyle. Anthony explains in his letter, that it's not about Haydn and Anthony's stories...but  more importantly, it is about the lives of others affected by religious groups, whose prejudice forces SSA individuals to remain closeted, for fear of rejection, and the damage that is done when SSA individuals are encouraged to believe that they can move towards heterosexuality through  ex-gay ministries.
Anthony writes...

Hi Haydn

I did think that the assumptions you have made about the meaning of my déjà vu statement on the ABC has taken things a little too far.

EG "The implication, hint hint, is Change did not work for me, and therefore it cannot for Haydn. We have many things in common: both were/are married, have two daughters, identify as Christian, and even once/do attend the same church, therefore expect him to go down the same track that I have. Haydn’s really gay, and nothing he can say or do to the contrary will change that. Haydn, why fight yourself? There is no integrity in that. Why stick to your wife and children and deny ‘who you are’ and live with a ‘lack of integrity’ when you can join others who ‘understand you’? You’re ‘lying’ to yourself and everybody else and one day you can and should leave your family because it’s all a hopeless sham."

These are rather heartless statements and assumptions that I wouldn't make. You and I do have many similarities in our journey. Fortunately I have not had to deal with sexual abuse or a tortured relationship with my family as you seem to have had. Your brief time living as a gay man with the many meaningless and often anonymous sexual encounters is tragic. I lived like that myself for some time before I got married. And like you some of that continued during my marriage life. It appears from what you have said and written that this was mostly at beats, sauna's or a part of the gay 'scene'. I am not sure...this has never been fully clarified. My life today though living as an openly gay man is very very different. Its moral, full of wonderful people and most of my gay friends are in monogamous committed relationships. You and I previously were obviously moving in the wrong circles.
This is certainly not just about me. ....my story or your story. We now have 40 years of 'ex-gay' history to draw on. That patterns are quite clear. I have worked with 100's of people like myself and like you. Currently I am working with a high profile ex-gay leader in the US who is in the process of facing the reality late 50's. And another man I worked with recently early 60's. When you speak about the decisions and choices people like us have had to make you make it sound like the issue was that we left the marriage to live a 'gay life' you seem to be insinuating it is about sex and that we choose selfishly. Or that we have 'given in' to our homosexuality. This is very far from the truth and demonstrates that you are unaware of the personal pain we have experienced in coming to a place of acceptance. Believe me it was and is never that easy. It's unfair that you speak so demeaningly about this.

I do feel sad for you.....and your wife. This is not a condescending sadness in any way. It is genuine compassion having experienced myself some of your pain and seen how my former wife also suffered. You have blogged about your unfaithfulness and betrayal of your marriage vows. I am saddened to read that in such a public space and wonder what impact these sorts of disclosures have on your wife's mental health and sense of self worth.

A women recently emailed me her story after Ron Brookman said at the marriage equality committee that he had recently performed the marriage of 3 men who were 'former homosexuals' .

"My story... I am straight and I was married to a closeted gay Christian man. This is a scenario that occurs over and over again in the Christian world. The gay man or women has heard all their lives from the pulpit that they are an "abomination". Mostly there is never even a distinction made between same-sex attraction/orientation and same-sex behaviour. So gay Christians learn to hide, to never be authentic, to never reveal their struggles. They marry a person of the opposite sex because that's what is expected. This is a marriage doomed to failure. The unsuspecting straight partner knows something is wrong but can't work out what. The gay partner eventually finds every excuse in the book to avoid intimacy and most often also becomes emotionally distant and detached, depressed and anxious. The straight partner has lost not only an intimate partner but also a friend and companion, and their self-esteem is quite often shattered in this facade of a marriage.

I'm sad for Ron Brookman's wife, and for the wives (and children if these marriages don't make it) of the other men he talks about in this interview. I'm sad for everyone who will believe what he says. I'm sad for myself... separated, now divorced from my Christian, closeted, gay-in-denial ex-husband (also in ministry). I'm sad for my ex-husband's first wife and children. I'm sad that he quite possibly will do this again to a 3rd woman because of fear and shame, and because of messages like this one from Ron Brookman that say that it's possible to be a "former homosexual". I support honesty, authenticity, and integrity. And... I should also have said that I'm very very sad for my ex-husband, and for all the unnecessary anxiety, depression, fear and shame that keeps him in the closet."

So we all suffer in this together in this terrible dilemma of being gay in a Christian culture that is ill-informed about sexual orientation.

How do I know all these things......from the experience of working with 100's of people who have tried the path of marriage....some used to attend Liberty....many other ex-gay style programs..

As always I am willing to dialogue or chat with you. Our meeting and the content will remain confidential if that is what you desire.

Anthony adds... I didn't receive a personal reply to my email but I am assuming that this post on his blog the next day is his answer

http://proverbspurple.wordpress.com/2012/10/17/something-to-keep-in-mind/

it gets sadder unfortunately.

I am reminded once again what Archbishop Jensen said on ABC's Q&A and was reaffirmed by Haydn that they would like to discuss the issue homosexuality in an atmosphere that is not volatile but respectful ......but when the opportunity to do this is offered then it is either ignored or soundly rejected.

Well Bill...I heard Haydn speaking on that ABC radio show...and he sounded like a fine man... just like Anthony... and you know something...I sure hope his marriage is, and continues to be a happy one...but I have issues with a group like Sydney Anglicans who use a young man like that..to push their homophobic message. I mean what kind of  ethics committee would allow Haydn to publish his sexual life story for all to see...and Bill ...that Peter Jensen was one of the ethical advisors for LCMI ...and isn't David Petersen now on the ethics committee? And what is ethical about encouraging, and using, a young man, grappling with his SSA and receiving marriage counselling,  to preach to others about overcoming SSA?  Who are the people running the Sydney Anglican diocese?
Disgraceful exploiters Calam! Some ethics committee...a bit like the standing committee that made the financial decisions... that resulted in a loss of 160 million...but at least that was only money...these guys are screwing with people's lives...these spiritual policy makers don't care about women or SSA people...but what would you expect when the Sydney Anglican guru, Phillip Jensen writes...  "But it is still true that boys are different to girls. God did not make us as hermaphrodites, but as males and females (Genesis 1:26-28)"

Say Ennis...if God didn't make hermaphrodites...then who made my Intersex friends...Satan?

Tony Payne from Matthias Media is asking for donations to help reach the target of $420,000

Tony Payne who is responsible for the publishing of material at Matthias Media, which specialises in depicting God as both sexist and homophobic, is asking for donations.

And why shouldn't Jensens' print media company ask for donations...I mean them big banks that sent the world broke got bailed out by governments...so why shouldn't a group of people who sent the Sydney diocese broke, and is now overseeing the sale of Bishopscourt...now Pete Jensen is moving out ...ask for donations?
Yes Jack...it's a bit of a case of What Some of You Were....and now are.

And what's that Jack...Once a bigot always a bigot ....or a classic case of the emperor's new clothes?

Sydney Anglican women participate in the Anglican Church League's apartheid policy.

The Anglican Church League hosted its first women’s Synod dinner to promote the work of the ACL, which is aims at promoting bigotry... by purging tolerant and egalitarian Anglicans from the Sydney diocese. The key note speaker was Kara Gilbert, the newly appointed Archdeacon for Women’s Ministry in the Sydney Diocese, who spoke about biblical illiteracy, such as equality. ACL Vice President, Claire Smith, provided a brief history of the ACL and encouraged women to become members and to participate in Synod debates and to not be overwhelmed by the ‘suits’ (ie. men).
Gav Poole, ACL President said women bring a certain flavour to the floor.

Calam... is it the flavour of submission ...that Gav's talking about ?

I don't know Bill... but I wonder if that fine Archdeacon lady might do something about the subjugation of Christian women through the use of domestic violence...after all it is domestic violence awareness month ...or is it her role to make sure women interpret domestic violence the way Peter Bolt does ... by ensuring that Sydney Anglican women adhere to the Claire Smith's spiritual grooming and deportment course?

Peter Jensen buys into the clergy row in Scotland by supporting the anti-gay, financially disenfranchiased conservatives!

It is reported that one of the world's most outspoken evangelical leaders, Peter Jensen, has lent his support to a congregation facing eviction by the Church of Scotland after it quit the Kirk in protest over gay ordination.

Say Ennis...sounds like St George's Tron's standing committee used Peter Jensen as its spiritual and  financial advisor.

Jack...since when has a Jensen believed in mediation?

Anglican Mainstream posts Rowan Atkinson's speech...Feel free to insult me!

Rowan Atkinson, who is well known for insulting English clergy, has given a speech stating that insults are part of free speech. Rowan believes that Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986 is being abused by police and prosecutors. Now that Anglican Mainstream's opinions are in the minority, Anglican Mainstream wants to ensure that its rights to ridicule gays and feminists are protected.

I say Reginald...it's appalling that the Church of England has such little respect for misogynists who are being forced to subjugate themselves before  female bishops! Our rights to promote hatred must be respected!

Yes Monty...but remember ...litigation has its place in the hands of conservatives...especially when conservatives are insulted
