Christianity Magazine editor Ruth Dickinson has defended an interview with US pastor Mark Driscoll as “robust and fair” and rejects any claim that the interview was adversarial. Excerpts from the interview were released to the media and Mark Driscoll was quoted as saying that English clergy are “guys in dresses preaching to grandmas”. Driscoll said his comments had been taken completely out of context and the interview was the most disrespectful, adversarial, and subjective one he has had. Interviewer Justin Brierley said he “did very little to prompt [Driscoll’s] comments about British preachers – he offered it spontaneously in the course of our interview”. The interview is out in full in Sunday’s edition of Christianity magazine.

It seems that when I click on the comments section in the blog below, the blogsite won't let me access it...even after your comment was removed anon. The same thing has occurred again anon with your new comment present. Some people pay a huge price for standing up for the marginalised who have suffered years of abuse from those who use God to oppress them.
