Sydney Anglican Robert Forsyth declared on the ABC Compass Program, that the purpose of marriage was for procreation and therefore marriage was restricted to one man and one woman. Some real Anglicans pointed out that Robert Forsyth belonged to a different denomination and were concerned that people may have thought he spoke for real Anglicans!

My goodness: I'd heard this little Forsyth character was not the sharpest arrow in Lord Volder-Jensen's quiver, but this is something else entirely. By this logic we should all assume he and and his post-menopausal spouse are longer validly married.
